Neil Armstrong, the first human to step on the Moon, always wanted to give prominence to the fact and not the person: "Circumstances made me fulfill that role," he said.
The famous phrase of Armstrong "one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind" was criticized because it would mean right "one small step for one man."
But an analysis of the transmissions made in 2006 revealed that Armstrong had said the phrase well and that the ruling was in the transmission.
