Moon Light

image
The moonlight consists mostly of sunlight (with a little light of the earth) bouncing off the Moon's surface at the part where the sun's rays hit.

In folklore (especially English folklore), moonlight is sometimes considered to have a bad influence. For example, sleeping in the light of a full moon on certain nights is said to turn a person into a werewolf. Moonlight is considered to aggravate the symptoms of crazy people and sleeping in the moonlight can make people blind or even mad

The intensity of moonlight varies greatly depending on the phase, but even in the full moon phase the light intensity is only about 0.05-0.1 lux. When the Moon is on the perigee and is seen above the culmination of the tropics, its illumination can reach 0.32 lux. The full moon light is only about a millionth of the brightness of the Sun.
