Chicory is a herbaceous plant with beautiful blue flowers. It is very common in Hungary, regarded as weed. Coffee substitute have long been made of its roots. Chicory helps digestion, cleanses the liver, kidneys, spleen, promotes perfect evacuation of the gall bladder. The root contains a lot of inulin, which is why it effectively reduces blood sugar levels, sweatiness and sweating during diabetes, and reduces high urination.
