Below ground in Denver Colorado runs Cherry Creek Park. @bxlphabet spent an afternoon down here while on a trip to Denver the summer after high school. Out of all the time spent on this trip, these were some of his favorite hours.
Under each overpass of city streets, drainage tubs are built with wonderful stonework. These are present as Denver has a high desert climate. The rain comes rarely, but is fast and hard when it arrives. These tubs are crucial, but needed only briefly. Then they quickly dry out for the next storm to come.
