10 Ways to Make Extra Money

We all want extra money, and some of us need it. So how do you do it?

Well, you can...

Write articles for a website like Hubpages. This is what's called "passive income." You write the articles and they earn money over a period of time. As your body of work grows, so does your income. It's good for a few extra dollars a month, and if you are a prolific writer, that can build up very quickly. Hubpages in particular has a few specialty or "niche" sites that you can choose to cater to a more specific audience.

Write articles for blogs or websites. You can write articles for sites like Blogmutt. These pay you when your piece is accepted. It's easy and fun. List-making websites pay pretty well, too (around $100 per list), but their criteria can be pretty strict.

Create an app on Amazon App Store or Google Play. This is another example of passive income. You create the app and just let it sell!

Sell something. We've all got stuff lying around that we don't need. Why not make it work for you?

Create something. Are you artsy? Crafty? Turn that talent into cash!

Create a website or blog and run Adsense. Got a passion or a serious interest? We all have at least one. It's a safe bet that others find your interest interesting, too. Why not let it earn you some money?

Monetize videos on YouTube. Are you a do-it-yourselfer? Have a podcast? Like to review products, books or movies? Upload your videos to YouTube and turn on monetizations. You'd be surprised how quickly it adds up.

Do tasks on Amazon MTurk or Onespace. These are usually not very high-paying, but sometimes there will be some that pay quite a bit. Create an account and start looking!

Drive for Lyft or Uber. If you're over 21, have a good driving record and a reliable car, you can drive for these companies and make serious money doing it.

Sell your skills (and anything else) on Fiverr. Fiverr is a website where you can sell literally anything. A skill, a craft, a weird joke... anything! Give it a shot.
