Monero's Back in the Top 10

Despite the current market and falling price, Monero $XMR has climbed back into the top ten cryptocurrencies by market cap list and will likely stay there.

There is a strong case to make that Monero is not suffereing from 'the purge' and it's market dominance is growing. The mining pools are also still growing implying positive sentiment and some solid foundation/support levels set by $XMR miners. Many of whom believe in the technology and have found innovative new ways to spend/use/store Monero in this market.

In regards to cloud mining, Minergate's Monero Cloud Mining Contracts have held on while many other contracts have been frozen or squeezed recently. Bitcoin $BTC mining contracts are under the most fire, many have since been terminated since our last Monero Difficulty Watch post.

Aside from some minor up-swings, Monero $XMR's difficulty has seen a slow rise since it's decline after the CryptoNightv7 hardfork back in April. Currently there are no apparent signs of ASICs on XMR pools. Although we've seen the return of FPGA mining; true ASICs are no longer feasible mining XMR with the current 6mos mining window between each planned Anti-ASIC hardfork. The next anti-ASIC hard-fork should be happening soon.

With the most decentralized altcoin, lifetime cloud mining contracts that seem fit for the long haul and Anti-ASIC/botnets hardforks every 6mos; I believe Monero XMR will continue to grow it's dominance in the privacy coin sector. Other coins I hodl in the sector include DigitalNote $XDN (don't ask), Dash $DASH and Linda $LINDA.
