Cleaning up
This week has been about cleaning-up and streamlining channels. There is a TON of spam in the channels that do not have an assigned channel mod. The more you don't follow the very simple and fair rules, the more we have to clean up after you. It has reached the point where kicks and banning are happening.
Each room has a description. READ THE DESCRIPTION. If your post does not fit into the description, it will be deleted and you will either be kicked or banned depending on your activity level with the group. If you are kicked, you are welcome back, but that is your final warning before banning. PALnet is a resource to learn and network, not for you to spam your post to 10 different channels without giving anything back to the community.
The general channel only has a couple of very simple rules. DO NOT use the room to upvote, register, or post your non-msp steemit posts in the general channel. We can only assume that you haven't even tried to see what is going on before doing this and we can only assume that you aren't interested in anything other than self promotion. Some of us will kick on site, some of us will ban. Don't test it.
Now for the positives
We surpassed 2000 members this week and of this writing, we are at 2344 members. Not all of them are active but there are hundreds that are in there every day helping new people learn while making new friends and connections.
Two new Delegation bots went live this week. If you delegate 100SP or more to any of the new bots you will be put on a list for the delegation bot. This is hands free, BUT we must be alerted to your delegation. The three bots are
** minnowsupport - This is the original with that $upvote is used with
** msp-lovebot - This is the level 100 delegation bot that you will receive an extra upvote from on all new posts once you are entered.
** msp-creative - This is the artistic lover's bot. It is highly specialized and selected by @sammosk. If you are an artist, musician, photographer, wordsmith, etc. AND you put out constantly awesome art in your blog, this is where you want to delegate.
** We are working on a new read-only channel called start-here. This is where we will be placing guides and information anout MSP and what to find where.
Wrap-up
It's been a busy week, and at times it seems like there's more to do than what can be handled. We're continuing to make strides on improving and creating a better user experience, while still having a load of fun.
