The Minnow Support Project runs weekly meetings between witnesses and the moderators to determine tactical and strategic approaches to meeting the needs of the public Discord community. Committees formed around a variety of central tasks and the group works to fulfill the charter: Spread the values of Peace, Abundance, and Liberty, help Steem grow, and train and retain new members (minnows) on the platform.

Witness Application Discussion
Motion to Suspend the rules for witness applications during December so we can vote at each mod meeting.
Motion passed
We will accept applications on a rolling basis and vote on them during each mod meeting in December.
Starting in January we will change to voting only during the first mod meeting of each month.
Minnow Support is dropping all witnesses who have not put in an application for now

Teamsteem has expressed concerns that Aggroed’s proxy to Minnow Support could be political and suggests copying @minnowsupport votes to the best of his ability.
Isaria, Ausbitbank, and Disco then suggest that Aggroed wait a month before proxying to Minnow Support

Abuse- Discordiant said The Silence Falls channel has pinned posts with commands and lists of ban reasons.
Discordiant advised that the Blacklist records are now formatted and being tracked for stats. To this end the document is now only changeable by the bot in Discord and that all additions to it need to have a correctly formatted reason.
Discordiant suggested that every moderator who has access to TheSilence bot should feel free to add any account to the Blacklist they feel needs to be there, regardless of if they are currently an active minnowsupport user. This will allow future sharing of the list to be the most effective.
