Asus unveiled a new motherboard specifically designed for miners that need a lot of GPU power, with the motherboard holding no less than 20 graphics cards.
The H370 Mining Master motherboard (with the LGA 1151 CPU socket) follows the front panel of the B250 Mining Expert Expert Group and makes a number of improvements besides the full size of the graphics cards you can include in it (although, of course, it's only one more cards than its predecessor, as the B250 supported 19 GPUs).
It replaces the PCIe x1 slot on the B250 with vertical PCIe-over-USB ports that allow the USB cables to plug directly into the ATX motherboard. In other words, this connection is a more robust method than using a PCIe card (as required by B250). And by using fewer parts, there is less chance of problems, so you should see better overall reliability in your mining computer.
In addition, Asus has introduced a range of diagnostic tools to help maintain the smooth operation of the mining rig. Embedded features include GPU State Detection, which scans when booting the system to look for potential problems with linked graphics cards.
