MINING WITH A SMART PHONE

Have you ever had the feel of how it's like to mine cryptocurrency with your phone?
Or you had no idea that can be done?

In my cryptocurrency journey, I happened to have run across that area after dealing with faucets.

Last year by this time, I had I'm my possession 4 different smart devices and 1 dumb phone. A Blackberry Q10, Huawei Media pad, Samsung tab 4 and Samsung tab 3, plus the other dumb phone* which actually doesn't have a name, we call them "Yam" phones in my country.

At one point, when I became supervisor at my work place, I had about 5 of the Huawei Tablets to cater for. As tempting as it was, I delved in to mine those hidden cryptocurrencies.

Recent news suggests that Samsung is coming up with an upcycling program that shows how people can re-use older devices. Not only for mining but also to reprogram the Android software on the the phone into something else.

Their experiment was brought into lime light at the recent developer conference, showcasing a 40-stack of Samsung Galaxy S5s turned into a Bitcoin mining rig. That may be a lot of phones... But can be gotten at cool prices as ppl launch on new smart phones devices

These phone are able to mine faster than pc. During my phone mining adventure, I did mine with apps like minersgate, Crypto Miner and ARM Miner bitcoin. I wasn't able to make much out there though. High cost of internet data, phones overheating, had to be connected to power source and since the other additional phones weren't my own, I had to put a halt to that adventure.

These recent innovations are creating ways for old Galaxy mobile devices to become energized, providing an extended value for these "once on the top" devices.
