Are you struggling to understand bidbots and how to use them?

Far from skeptical, I came to understand that one needs to embrace the bot-devil before having anything close to "Its Own Voice" in this platform!

Can't hide the fact that I am against bidbots and perfectly see how they corrupt the power of a "Proof of Brain" mining system, as of the one running for Steemit blockchain.

Anyway, the truth is I decided to face-the-fight and to raise my voice. However, which might be the only way to do that?

BidBots!

The Master Monsters! Yeah!

So... in the past three weeks, I've tried to -somehow- test the use of bidbots, willing to reach more users, maybe conquer follower (real people - not bot-followers), and I'm here to report my initial experiences.

I am planning to try to increase the value given to some bidbots, for example, @therising , @raise-me-up and @upvoteme -maybe I will try @upmewhale to (not sure yet)- and then try to figure out how much I need to burn to reach break-even.

By the way, if you readers have any expertise to share, please let me know and add comments to this post.

I am sure many readers will be interested in knowing more about a great strategy to better use bidbots.

My first experience:

I invested 1.3 SBD$ with the "Promote" button for this post here: https://steemit.com/life/@borges.barilla/steemit-proof-of-brain-evolved-to-proof-of-ai

Guys! Be aware and listen to me, this is the worst mistake you can ever, EVER, ever do.

Never spend your SBDs with the inborn Steemit "promote" button. That is a total waste of you SBD.

In Resume: I got no exposure. No extra-read, no extra-follower, no vote. Nothing. That thing is not working at all to promote your post.

My second experience:

I took the same last post and insisted on it. I invested extra 1.5 SP with the bidbot @raise-me-up + 0.7 SP with @obaku. I add the link of my post in the transfer memos, and boom!

I got 810 votes (probably 99% from bots) but got some real people to follow me, and actual comments from real people.

In more details: I got a total of 8 comments: Two from real interested people, to which I replied with tremendous attention and feeling. (Thanks @craft-crypto and @bewithbreath ! You just made me feel very good about writing!) I also got one dry comment. And that is it.

From a 'money perspective', I keep far from break-even. That post took 1.3 SBD + 2.0 SP, and the return was $0.22.

My third experience:

This time things were much more efficient. I only spent 1.5 SP with @raise-me-up to promote this latest post: https://steemit.com/mindset/@borges.barilla/agenda-todolist-solution-do-it

The result was: 3 extra followers, 72 upvotes (no idea how many are coming from real people vs botvotes), and $0.21 as a reward. Plus: two comments from @oliver135 (Thanks bro!) and some interaction with @itripvenezuela and @poetrywhale .

I will keep trying guys! Let's see where I can get with a combination of @raise-me-up and @therising.

I will report back soon! Please, leave a comment if you are also trying to understand the bidbot economy. I appreciate sharing ideas about that!
