On Wednesday (March 14th) international press reports, in a speech in front of members of the armed forces in a ceremony in San Diego, Trump told his ambition.
'America will prepare itself for any war that will take place in space' - Trump's National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster said.
Now the echo of his words has been heard by Trump's voice: "There will come a day when the Armed Forces will have a separate branch of our armed forces."
In this context, Trump said, "My new strategy regarding space is that space is also a battleground for us like land, water and air, so we have a separate army, a space force to fight there.
Trump said, "I was not so serious about the issue at first. After thinking, what a wonderful idea! Maybe we have to do it. That could happen. And that will be a groundbreaking story. "
Before the speech of Trump, Vice-President Mike Pence also said that the United States, the highest authority in the world, must also become such in space.
However, the Pentagon and the US Air Force representatives kept their positions against this notion. According to them, by doing this, there will not be much difference in the current military capability.
