Few years back the girl population was very low in comparison to boys in various states of India. These are the states where people did not want girl child but boys boys.
They used to check whether the yet to born baby is girl or boy with the help of Sonographic machine. Rajasthan & Haryana are some of the states where girls population was very low in comparison to boys.
The case went to the Supreme Court of India where the court has banned Sonographic machines On order of court police nabbed those doctors who are using the machine to check whether yet to born baby is boy or girl.
These States Rajasthan and Haryana also started various schemes to catch those culprit doctors and nursing homes. They also gave incentive to families where girl child School is born.Now families in these States are coming forward and they are giving a chance to girl baby.
It is very heartening to see the statics of the government. Now the girls and boys girls percentage have increased in comparison to boys.
