If you haven't been following the potential legislation and backlash in regards to lootboxes and have no idea what this meme is about, feel lucky. Basically EA is trying to claim loot boxes are "surprise mechanics" that users enjoy, like a surprise toy...that you have to spend thousands of dollars to hopefully get and have no idea if it's even possible because you have no idea how rare it is, and the whole time trying you'll get bunches of absolute garbage.
