Are you a meditator wishing to connect to others or strengthen your practice in a group setting? On Wednesday May 1, we're having our very first group sitting in Discord, and we'd love for you to join us!
Mindful Life is a space within Natural Medicine whose aims are:
โข To unite meditators across the Steem blockchain so that we can share and strengthen our own practices
โข To provide a space to discuss the philosophy, science and practical application of such practices in our lives
โข To inspire and motivate each other
โข To provide support if we might be struggling, connecting with like minded people who might offer solutions
Entry is minimum 20 SP for those under 500SP, and 50SP + for those with a bit more. This makes you a full member of @naturalmedicine and all it's benefits. It's free for those under 100 SP.
However, if you're just planning to come for the meditation to see what it's like and then leave again, that's fine too - in these situations, entry is 2 Steem - please make sure you let @riverflows know the day before as the time for her will be 6 am, so she DEFINITELY won't be making people members at the last minute!
Funds are used to continue these offerings, offer upvotes and challenges, and support Steemfolk as best as we can.

Try to arrive 5 - 10 minutes early so that you have any technical issues sorted out before we start promptly.
We know this time might not suit everyone, but that's okay - we plan to run a second one shortly afterwards, possibly on the weekend.
Do I Need to Be An Experienced Meditator?
No! It'll be a simple breath meditation (anapana) and we anticipate Steemians without experience. It'll be largely about creating calm and peace within, so breath meditation is PERFECT for that.

- 10 minutes โ Q & A related to the technique/guidance
Our host is happy to discuss further on the technique or meditation in general after 9pm on our #mindful-chat subchannel, if you'd like to jump on voice or ask questions in the chat.
