Recently, I've started creating mazes.

Here's what it looks like all dry and complete.

I used this wacky maze was a way to explore some strong color combinations using liquid acrylic. The path on the darker side is terra cotta + turquoise blue. The brighter half is crimson + turquoise blue. The maze walls are yellow, olive green and forest green. Lots of intermingling color here.

At first it was tricky to wrap my mind around the basics of maze construction. After some practice, it was time to dive a bit deeper with this colorful piece of work.
