Myanmar's new President Win Mint

Myanmar's presidential candidate Nun's leader Aung San Suu Kyu, who is known as the loyalist U Win Mint On Wednesday (March 28th) the Myanmar Times reported the news. 66 year old Win Mint NLD (National League for Democracy) is a trusted and influential member.

Suu Kyi's loyal devotee Mint came from Iriwada delta region of the southern agricultural region of Myanmar. In the 1980s, he worked as a senior lawyer and joined the movement for the restoration of democracy in 1988.

According to the Myanmar Constitution, if the President resigns or dies, he will have to appoint a new person in his post within seven days. U Win Mint resigned as the lower house speaker on Wednesday. After this, his election was confirmed as president.
