The future of teaching Mathematics and Physics

Learning Mathematics is essential !

We all need a basic level of Math to think properly in our world. The human mind cant create a logical thinking without words and their related concepts, the "mind" wouldn't exist without symbols tied to reality for it to manipulate. Mathematics are just very complex structures of words and symbols and when seen as a whole it's certainly one of the most complex thing Humanity built.

Kids don't like Maths. It's hard to visualize, hard to speak and share, and finally almost impossible for some to attach to something in the real world.

I present to you the future of learning Maths for kids : https://www.shadertoy.com/

With the incredible advancements in computer graphics, Shaders (piece of code that "speaks" to your graphic card to make it draw something specific) are becoming more and more accessible to code and experiment with.

I personnaly use https://hexler.net/software/kodelife to have fun with shaders. It's a "Real-time GPU shader editor, live-code performance tool and graphics prototyping sketchpad."

Almost everything that a student needs to learn in Maths could be better understood with that approach. If we want to stop inflicting knowledge and instead invite to experiment, visual live coding is part of the solution.

Please take a look at some of those incredible shaders and if you want a cool demo, Inigo Quilez will make you love Maths :

Bisous !
