This is exactly Marx, Engels, Lenin, Trotsky, Sparkling, and so on. Marxists around the world are nationalists.
Because nationalists are based on the definition of nation. But they do not know that their definition is in fact the definition of nation, and based on that definition they reproduce nations and nationalism while claiming and defending that they are not nationalists.
Worse, all these Marxists do not defend a Democratic Nation even when they defend a Democratic Republic.
They cannot even see that the concept of nation on which they are based is a nation concept of a non-democratic reactionary nationalism. In other words, they are not even democratic nationalists, but reactionary nationalists.
