Happy Friday everyone!
This day, allow me to take you to a Bonsai nursery that we happen to passed by along the road during our vacation in the Philippines.
Orange Santan Bonsai plant
Bonsai Tree
It is growing a small tree in a container (Tray planting) that mimics a full grown tree. It can also be attached to other plants and grown together in the same pot. In order to do this, they use cultivation techniques.
He used some gardening wires to shape the tree
Beautiful Bougainvillea Bonsai
According to the Bonsai planter, It take him many years to grow one, some of his Bonsai’s are 10 - 15 years old. He says that he doesn’t have proper training in this miniature tree planting, watching through videos and passion for gardening are just his way of learning.
He got lots of variations and they were all unique and beautiful. Some plants are attached to other plants through a stem and produce an uncommon beautiful product overtime.
They were a bit pricey though, especially the older ones. We didn’t purchase it but I think he is very happy enough to share his beautiful hobby with us. I can see his passion and love for nature through his eyes. His trees are all amazing! A nice addition to your house for a cooling effect and a natural touch.
Yellow Santan Bonsai plant
He still have lots of plants in the backyard, it's full of greens! It makes me want to stay longer but we are running late to our destination.
This is the photo of the entrance, it's cool, breezy and very welcoming. There is a giant chicco tree, not Bonsai.
And the lovely man (in a blue shirt) who unselfishly shares his passion and love for Mother nature.
My family really enjoyed our mini stop in this little paradise of greens. It was a beautiful start of the day. I hope you enjoy the pictures too.
Have you tried growing a Bonsai plant/tree?
This post is dedicated for #marketfriday by @dswigle and i am so glad to be able joined this week.
