I had the recent pleasure of touring this commercial cannabis farm in Washington.
They have an interesting growing style with plants above ground in cloth pots. It seems to work well and the plants were very healthy.
No issues with gophers or other rodents since the roots are protected by weed barrier and the pot.
The watering system is also complex and mostly automated.
Water pipes were running everywhere and are controlled with electric valves and digital timers.
The plants were huge, some reaching 10 feet tall. When cannabis flowers, it can almost double in size so I can only imagine what this place will look like in the coming weeks.
