Mankape Nen (Coffee First) caught our attention during our trip to LTB last month while refilling the gas tank. We thought we would check it out the next time we passed by, so we did on Tuesday.
It's a cozy little coffee shop within the Clean Fuel station along the rocky mountainside of Tomay La Trinidad. Here's the overview of the place's location through Google Maps screen captured via Worldmappin. (No copyright infringement intended).
We chose one of the two tables outside so our Yongi could watch things around and wouldn't get bored. Here are a few shots taken while there - the place's signage and some info on their signature coffee and coffee menu.

And some fun stuff on the shop's glass wall. It said "Coffee first. Adulting second." And also "Coffee: because adulting is overrated." Forgive me for the poor photos. I took them discreetly because someone was enjoying his cup inside.
Anyway, it was time to check the menu. Brewed coffee would have been nice, but it was a bit warm that day so we decided to have something cold. Milkshake it is! We didn't order anything else as we still feel heavy from the day's lunch. I opted for the Taro flavor and the hubby went for Caramel but when our orders came, Taro was replaced with Vanilla. Ayayay!
We all make mistakes and Vanilla is okay too so I received it without any complaints. The attendant's mind might have been elsewhere when he took the order or he could have misheard it. Either way, he was forgiven.😁
And so we enjoyed our shakes to our heart's content. It was a perfect mix if I say so. It is not too sweet which is nice.
This by the way was another fun jist seen on their wall. Do you agree with this statement? I think many would say "of course" to this, lol!
But yeah, we had a lovely time out there even for a short while. Maybe the next time we drive along the area, we will try the other things on their menu.
Meanwhile, it's Friday on my side of the world and there's less than an hour left for HPUD. I did mine, just a small amount to top up my Hive Power which now stands at 21,831.
