These photos were taken at the Kota Kinabalu Wetland Centre. As you can see, this place is full of mangroves. Mangrove forests are home to large variety of fish, crab, shrimp and mollusks. The forests also serves as breeding ground for marine life. It serves as an important refuge and feeding ground for many species of resident birds as well as migratory birds. Aside from that, it is very airy in this place. You can smell fresh air. Mangroves play an important role in our ecosystem, we better preserve and protect them especially for the future generations to come.
