Programming the Amiga Series Part 1: Installing AMOS Basic the Easy Way!

AMOS BASIC is a fun, powerful, and user-friendly game programming language and environment for the Amiga.

In this video we look at installing AMOS in a couple of easy ways ...

  1. First using the free Github repo for AMOS BASIC source code.
  2. Secondly using "AMOS for Windows" pre-made emulation and AMOS install for Windows users.
  3. Lastly, we use that pre-made emulation package but in our own install of WinUAE, copying the assigns from the startup sequence in the package and adding them to our own startup-sequence file.

Apologies for the sound from my travel headset! Audio will be much better in future entries as we actually get into programming your own Amiga games with AMOS BASIC :)
