Concealer reviews

Well, even 6 months back I didn't use any concealers even though I had acne scars. They didn't look that bad once I applied foundation. I used to puffy eyes often, but I never had prominent dark circles. Nothing a bit of a brighter power couldn't fix. Back in last August I feel horribly sick. After spending 7 days in the hospital, the dark circles were here to stay. That lead me to dip my toes in the world of concealers.

  1. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind: the first one I bought in the shade in Neutralizer, works really well at canceling out the darkness and brightening. Love the formula and coverage. Will repurchase. Price is $10.
  2. Mac Prolong Wear: I love how it sets, which makes it great for spot concealing. But I can't do that unless it matches my face. I got NC 25 for highlighting, but it creases and looks dry in my T-zone. Also the oil in my face somehow separates it after a while. But it's great for cut-creases. Not sure if I'm going to repurchase, costs $23.
  3. Colourpop No Filter: I love this, works well for both spot concealing (as it matches me well), also for the undereyes on days when I don't want them to be too bright. Will repurchase for sure. Costs $6.
