I have always liked the colours of the leaves of the trees in the fall.
Deciduous trees have the beautiful colours just before the leaves fall off in the autumn. The green chlorophyll in the leaves contains essential nutrients, is extracted from the leaves and transported back to the branches of the tree.
In this process, beautiful yellow and red colours appear on the leaves. They will be a very beautiful sight
How beautiful the autumn colours are, depends on the weather. If it is nice weather with sunshine and cold or chilly nights, the leaves will have beautiful and robust autumn colours.
When the weather is greyer with a lot of cloudy weather and less sunshine, and perhaps combined with a lot of rain, the fall colours will be less, and many trees have brown leaves, and they do not appear as colourful as the different colours in red orange and yellow.
These leaves and trees were photographed a few years ago when the weather was favourable to produce excellent autumn colours.
