Many of you have come across the Love it, Shove it challenge and I've been challenged by two fellow Steemians, @braaiboy & @jaynie. Therefore, I decided to pull up my socks and Love, Shove & Love/Shove it.
Initially initiated by @snowpea.
I'm gonna try and keep it short and to the point. Here it goes.
Love it
My wife. I just love her to bits and can't think of a reason to add her to the Love/Shove category. She's a straight shooter and doesn't BS her way through shit.
My kids. They are another half of me that I simply love, love and love some more. Even if I refer to them as little monsters, I can not shove them, I just love them.
Ok, ok, I can really get carried away with family so I'll move on. I love good food. I love preparing it, eating it and socialising around it. Indoors, outdoors, it all works for me :)
I love pets. I'm not talking about the ones in cages and tanks but those that actually show some affection... cats, dogs, maybe a free reigning rat. That kinda vibe. Dang it, that's going back to family.
Exploring. I love exploring. If I was living in the 1800's I'd likely want to be a pirate searching for treasure. In the future I'd likely want to explore the galaxy. For now, I'm content with fossil hunting at the beach, falling asleep to UFO conspiracies, discovering new things and dreaming about the unknown.
Shove it
Abuse. I just can't handle it when someone abuses their power, in which ever way that may be.
Fakeness. That just makes me feel queezy, yucky and gross. Why do people do that?
If you're sitting next to me and you don't brush your teeth... at all.
Just to lighten the mood a little, Holy fucknuts! I got stuck on a plane with some dude that didn't/doesn't brush his teeth. If you haven't been there, I hope you don't end up there. BTW, gum didn't help.Zonky Nuts. You know when you have that little piece of crap that gets stuck in the hair around your poop hole. Well, that's a Zonky Nut. If you're not hairy, then you won't understand.
Wet firewood. Ugh, what a pain in the arse.
Love/Shove it
Work. Sometimes and some parts of it I love. Others I'd shove down the deepest, darkest hole I can find.
Raising kids. It's not always easy. I love them to pieces but raising them definitely has its shove moments.
A kak braai (grill/bbq). How can I not love the attempt at it but geez, let me help you out a little.
Failure. It's a lesson but fuckin hell, it can be a hard one at times. Therefore, it's a love and shove at times. Somelessons in my mind aren't.
Steemit. I love the platform, the people, the interaction. I shove the platform, the people, the interaction. Why? Because of all the BS you need to filter through.
There we go. Booya! Done, dusted and now I actually feel a tad better, lol.
