Why cant you make up your damn mind. Its over! its done! Get it into your head! Stop looking back. Stop holding on! Why do you keep dreaming? Your brain screams forget him. Your heart can't seem to hear it. Its all conflicted. Its not a fairytale. You knew it won't last. You knew it would hurt. Lightning don't strike the same place twice.
Why don't we play a game instead, one you won't ever have to lose or be taken for a fool. Let's give up this stupid charade. Let's evolve, Change the rules, tweak it. There's nothing left to lose.
She closed the window, turned her back to it. She was not sure she wouldn't give him another chance if he asked. But she knew in her heart she wouldn't survive it. He was a thick darkness to her grey heart and any more doses of him will consume her entire being.
