A lot of experiences from adults or even young ones convey about their views toward love at first sight. Today, Im gonna share to you my insights about the said topic. Im going to give my opinion if whether is it real or just another kind of cliche.
Many of us says that yes, love at first sight is indeed real based on the experiences we heard from others. Yes, in a way that when they saw that woman or man, their heart skipped a beat and that a force attraction was pulling him or her for her heart to pound like crazy. I saw this article once in my life and it says that a guy falls in love in a matter of 8 seconds. It makes me questions, how is it possible? When I cant even love my own brother at that moment 😂😂 kidding aside.
For my opinion, I dont go with this idea. As a matter of fact, it will not be love at first sight because love wont be and cant be just built up at first moments. The kind of properties that are known to convey love — intimacy, commitment, passion — are not particularly strong in those first moments when people say they've fallen in love at first sight.
When we say sight, it refers to seeing the physical qualities of a person. People usually feel 'love at first sight' towards beautiful people. And as we age, because we are not immortals, beauty fades. It wilts and it does not last forever. As for my final verdict, it is not love at first sight afterall. It is just a strong pull of attraction towards a person. It is so strong it makes you think it is already love.
In summary, the science favors these kinds of romantics 😂 Love at first sight actually is experienced by people, but it's not so much "love". Instead, it's a strong pull or attraction that makes someone particularly open to the possibilities of a relationship. Love at first sight can happen for many times, and maybe the instances where it fizzles into a relationship are forgotten. But when love at first sight does launch a long running relationship, the story will be a great one.
