Lots of Promise for Litecoin : Bitstamp, Lightning network, Coinbase dev leaves to join Litecoin

Introduction

Litecoin is poised to take off soon, and based on its roadmap, and a ton of other developments the future of the currency seems very bright. In this post I will be doing a full analysis starting with the biggest developments that have occurred in the past couple of days in regards to the currency. So strap yourself to the rocket and watch Litecoin go to the moon!

LTC/USD and LTC/EUR pairs are being added to the international exchange Bitstamp

As of 2016, Bitstamp has been noted as the second largest Bitcoin exchange by volume, it currently supports Bitcoin, Ripple to US dollar and Euro.

Litecoin is scheduled to be added to the exchange sometime in the upcoming week. At the time of this article Litecoin is worth $30.17.

Charlie Lee, director of engineering at Coinbase, is moving back to Litecoin

Charlie Lee announced last night that he is leaving his position at Coinbase and moving to full time development for Litecoin. Lee known as SatoshiLite on Twitter is credited for being the founder of Litecoin.

Yours.org is looking to utilize Litecoin for micropayments to pay creative artists

Yours.org which is set to announce the release of their alpha version is using Litecoin with great efficacy to enable the payment of creative artists similar to what Steemit does today. Yours was originally going to use Bitcoin but due transaction fees and various other issues surround Bitcoin such as its lack of scalability chose Litecoin.

Conclusion

Looking at all of these developments, Litecoin is a buy based on my analysis at this moment. As the lightning network is better integrated into the currency and more benefits of SegWit are realized we should be in for an exciting future.
