In todays crypto news I found some interesting stuff and the first thing is regarding the Lightning Network. From this news source we can learn that the success rate for transactions above $150 or the equivalent in Bitcoin is very low, close to a 90% failure rate. The only guarantee that the Lightning Network has right now are for transactions below 3 cents. So apparently, they have a lot of work to do until any kind of satisfaction rate can be reached.

In other news, Peter Brand is saying that it does look very negative for Bitcoin. Here is his chart:

Comment: He is saying that the low we set earlier this morning took out the low from back in October in 2017. On the other hand, Bitcoin went from 700 to 20000 during last year, so in my opinion, I find it very hard to say that Bitcoin is in a long term bear market. Absolutely in the short term, but not necessarily in the long term of things.
In other news, we can learn that Blockchain.info has updated its home page and wallet and that was actually the first wallet I ever used for Bitcoin when I bought my first back in 2015. So, head over there if you have not checked it out. They do have a lot of interesting stats in terms of Bitcoin wallet users and transactions.

Earlier this week I opened an account at Coinbase and transferred 1 Euro in order to have it up and running if I want to sell into fiat. However, it seems like Coinbase does not like unbanked accounts, have a look at this tweet:

Comment: Just another sign that we need a user friendly crypto exchanges.
Finally, a tweet from John McAffe:

Comment: It seems like a lot of exchanges have a pretty high buy in level, I know from experience that Bitfinex has a pretty high entry level and the same seems to be true for Hitbtc and McAffe is asking for a boycott.
Anyways, that is it for now, have a good crypto day!
