Edith Newbold Jones known as Edith Wharton
Born - 24 January 1862
Died - 11 August 1937
She was an American Novelist and a designer.
She was the first women who won Pulitzer Prize for the literature.
I am going to point out a few quotes of her which shows the incredible thinking of her.
1. There are two ways to spread the blaze. Become candle and spread lights or become a mirror which reflects candle's lights.
2. Those who don't afraid of change, have an interest in big things, Get happy in small things, only they can survive.
3. Half the trouble in life arises due to by pretending to don't have troubles.
4. Like the words, quietness too has many colors.
5. Life is like a seasoned rope or a soft winged sheet, you have to choose.
6. The best thing about travel is that you get to know that how many honest and humble people are in the world.
Every other post on steemit is relating to cryptocurrency and photography, so I was thinking what to post besides then that and I got a chance to read few words about this lady and After reading about Edith Wharton, I'm really impressed with her thoughts and got an idea about starting series about women empowerment post. This is my try, hope you all will like this.
