Meanwhile, the WHO is as silent as the lambs. Must have a mouthful of tossed Chinese salad. They and the ECDC are forcing Italy to misreport CoV stats.
Not to be outdone, President Trump is apparently gagging American health officials so they can't report factually on the developing pandemic.
Feel safer yet?
Me neither. It's shit like this that makes me want to head for the hills for a couple months until all the fresh bodies are done ripening.
Censorship is an existential threat to our lives, particularly during a pandemic. Know this: when everyone that is supposed to be telling you how bad it is starts being ordered to conceal new infections, not speak publicly unless granted permission from fed.gov, and you're told to not bother with those useless masks, just as the country begins discovering cases of community transmission, it's gonna get a lot worse before it gets better - because they want it to.
This epidemic isn't gonna slow down. It's just getting started. Worse than the disease, as @corbettreport noted, is the cure, a la China welding apartment buildings shut so no one inside can get away, or die in public.
Can someone think of a way official enemedia sources, health authorities, and national governments could make this worse? The drug shortages are just beginning to be felt. One of my prescriptions is among them. I read that in Europe, Germany has the most ICU beds per capita, at ~30/100k. IIRC, England had 6/100k civilians. Given that ~20% of SARS-2-CoV victims need intensive care and there is no effort to prevent maximal spread of the disease, there's gonna be a lot of folks not getting ICU beds.
In Italy the Mayor of Florence started the 'Hug a Chinese' campaign Feb. 1, that now has caused the country to become an epicenter of this viral plague. The open EU borders are letting infected Italians enter all the countries in the EU. Multiple European countries are catching cases from Italians freely traveling across Europe.
You might remark 'Gee, all those very wealthy, super powerful politicians and banksters sure are dumb, just letting all these things make this pandemic worse.'
If you do, you're a bit naive. This is being done accidentally on purpose. This pandemic is being blown into a giant bag of totalitarian oppression, just like China, that the WHO is always praising effulgently.
Public anger should be blazing at these scumbags that are deliberately causing the pandemic to spread. To you. To your kids.
Don't let them trick you into failing to secure your person, family, and what you can from this plague, and what they're going to use it as an excuse for.
Get your kids out of school.
And get your pitchforks and torches ready.
