How to avoid getting in trouble

So I’m with family today and my sister in law has one child that is let’s say difficult. He doesn’t listen very well and likes to lie a lot.

We found a juice box in the toilet and one of the parents was asking who did it. No one fessed up so another went around asking what kind of juice box everyone had, my sister in law’s son responded grape. When told there was no grape he looks over trying to see what kind it was and responds something different.

Meanwhile my son just blurts our “It was Dillion”. To which we asked, how do you know? “He peed on it”. Some one asks if he was watching and he responds “no he told me”.

So we talking about all the other funny lies he was caught in and this one had us dying.

Apparently he was running around class a lot and handed this in to his mom for his daily progress sheet.

Needless to say, we were laughing pretty hard.

He is only 8 and is a cute nice kid, just has a lot of difficulty with truth and listening.
