I live in Thailand and Easter here is not a big holiday, but I understand the meaning of it from both a religious side as well as a non-religious side. The holiday is about sacrifice and blessings and giving and family. It shows how we all need to be aware of the sacrifices that were made for us and how we all need to be prepared to give what is needed for each other.
For the kids they are taught these same lessons and about how giving is necessary for you to receive.
