Are we here or is this all just a figment of our imagination?
I have often pondered whether the reality we live in is actually reality or whether it is all a created reality to keep our brains occupied whilst our bodies are in stasis.
The human body is the perfect battery. We burn efficiently burn energy and produce heat.
Which brings me to my second Sunday musings – “Are we really here?”
Every now and then, particularly over a few drinks with mates, I will bring up the question of whether what we are currently seeing is just a perception or figment of our imagination! How are we to know if what we are currently experiencing is actual reality or an augmented reality?
‘The Matrix’ starring Keanu Reeves, is a great example of the possibility of a manipulated reality that has been created to keep us ‘big-brain humans’ occupied whilst our bodies are used to produce much needed energy and resources for another race of being.
How do we know if the reality we currently experience is actually reality?
There are many scenarios where an augmented reality could actually be occurring, but we will never know. To keep our bodies working as batteries, our minds must be totally immersed in the experience to keep our neurons occupied and firing.
Could the world as we know it, be a creation of someone/something else? Are we stacked like batteries within a ‘power plant’ producing energy whilst our minds are occupied by the created ‘reality’ that we call Earth? Are our little successes and achievements allowed by our slave masters to ensure we are somewhat satisfied with our current lives and we do not question reality as we currently perceive it?
The answer to this will never be known….. Something to think about?
