DISAPPOINTING AMOUNT OF SYMPATHY FOR HATE GROUPS :(

Why are some people (in 2017) so quick to defend the rights of groups that have roots in violent rhetoric towards people who are different? The KKK never went away, its just taken different forms. Now instead of a lynch mob they are a legally valid entity with rights to assemble and spread their message of supremacy. The disappointing part is how many ardently defend them under the guise of free speech. Free speech shouldn't be a blanket term for all speech, we need to use context. Ask yourself, if we were in the civil rights era would you be supporting the rights of their predecessors?
