The best Christmas presents for your loved ones

Christmas is coming up again and I bet you're wondering about what to buy for your loved ones this time. Another parfume, a watch or a book maybe? Isn't this getting old a little?

You'd want to surprise them and make them happy but you don't know what they'd want or need. Asking them isn't really an option as that wouldn't be a surprise anymore.
So how do you buy them a gift that would surprise them and make them happy?

Try to think about what their hobbies are. Does your husband like to watch football? Buy him a ticket to the biggest game of the season!
Does your wife like massages and facials? Get her a voucher to the cosmetician or a spa.

Your teenage son/daughter will have trillions of hobbies, ok probably involving expensive electronics but try to dig deep and you'll find cheaper options.
Your elderly parents might not have too many hobbies but maybe they like gardening or they would enjoy a weekend in the nearest town's hotel.
You might not know what your relatives or close friends like to do (which would be quite strange if we're talking about someone you're living with/best friends with), but let's just say you don't. So you can ask them: what do you enjoy doing the most, what's your hobby? They might look at you strange first but will be glad for your interest. And they won't suspect you of hunting for a Christmas present this way.
Trust me, giving some thought to this and making an effort for the people closest to you will be just as good for you as it is for them! The act of giving is so much more rewarding than getting the best present you can imagine. You'll agree with me once you see that big smile on your girlfriend's face and a sparkle in her eyes.
Christmas is not about spending huge amounts of money on things we don't need and will never use just so you get something, it's about thinking and caring about the people you love the most and expressing your feelings to them, which you should actually do any day of the year, not just for Christmas. You might not even need to buy them anything, maybe just surprise your partner with a dinner you made for them, get a nice buequet of roses (ok you might have to spend a few bucks there) and be super nice. I bet that will make them very happy!

So start thinking about your loved ones now. Maybe write down a few of their hobbies and see what you could get them.
