Alone, in my place

The loneliness you see
A time I spend in the company of me
Hours I spend thinking
Of how better my days could be
Afraid of speaking before them
what if as i walk, and trip and fall
they'd laugh
I'd run and hide ability gone to stand tall
My invincibility, I cherish
quite and peaceful
away from judgments so hurtful
The loneliness I cherish
better to imagine wishful impossibilities
in my mind the party happens
how loud it could get,
I speak and walk taller
My mind I control,
it is my solace
The loneliness
There I become whoever I want to be
