Last week my sister came up to see me in Bangkok and we spent time hanging out together. One place that she wanted to go was a melon plantation called Coro Feild. Despite many melons out there, this cutie Common Marmoset actually captured my interest.

วันนี้นาเดียได้จะมาให้ความรู้เรื่องสายพันธุ์นึงของลิงที่น่าสนใจค่ะ มันชื่อว่า คอมม่อน มาร์โมเสท ซึ่งเป็นน้องลิงชนิดนึงในลิงสายพันธ์มาร์โมเสท นาเดียไปเจอเจ้าตัวนี้ตอนที่ไปเที่ยวกับพี่สาวที่สวนเมล่อนโคโรฟีลที่ราชบุรี
I had known bigger species of monkeys such as gorillas or Thai monkeys that you see in some Thai temples, but this species is really tiny and adorable. So I looked it up onhttp://www.monkeyworlds.com/common-marmoset and leaened that it's a type of monkey in the species called Marmoset. One of the most distinctive features is the white tuffs growing out of the side of their faces as they get older.
Originated in The Northeastern coast of Brazil , Common Marmoset can be found typically in many
places in South America due to their nature to survive and their ability to move swiftly.
In Thailand, it is not widely popular to have them as pet due to their high price. Matichon newspaper issue number 295 says that since it is a reserved animal mainly imported from the United States, the process of import has to be undertaken underThe Covention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora or CITES. The import of common Marmosets and other wild animals to Thailand has been both legal and illegal ways so the best way to buy these rare pets is to make sure the animal farms or stores obtain the license to stop illegal wildlife trade, protect these animals from bad treatments and you from infecteous diseases carried by these animals.
Having some wild animals as pets has never been in my consideration even though they are very interesting and adorable. No matter what animals you plan to have, they need care and attention consistantly just like children. For me I would love to have a cat some day when I feel ready to take care of it and I don't want any other animals else <3
ครั้งแรกที่เห็นต้องบอกว่าใจพองด้วยความน่ารักตัวน้อยๆของมันเพราะไม่เคยเห็นมาก่อน เราก็รู้จักเคยเห็นพวกลิงแสมหรือกอริล่า นาเดียเลยหาข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับลิงตัวนั้นดู ซึ่งลักษณะหนึ่งที่เห็นได้ชัดและความแตกต่างจากลิงสงวนสายพันธ์อื่นก็คือขนสีขาวข้างแก้มที่จะยาวขึ้นเรื่อยๆตามอายุไขของมันค่ะ
ลิงสงวนสายพันธ์นี้มีถิ่นดั้งเดิมของมันคือบริเวณชายฝั่งตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของประเทศบราซิล คอมม่อน มาร์โมเสทเป็นสัตว์ที่เคลื่อนไหวบ่อยและมีสัญชาตญาณในการปรับตัวและเอาตัวรอดสูงทำให้มันสามารถพบได้ทั่วไปในอเมริกาใต้
ในประเทศไทยเองการเลี้ยงสัตว์ป่าสงวนเป็นสัตว์เลี้ยงก็ไม่ได้เป็นที่นิยมมากนักส่วนหนึ่งก็เพราะราคาที่สูงข้อมูลจากหนังสือพิมพ์มติชนฉบับที่ 295 ได้ระบุว่าการนำเข้าของคอมมอน มาร์โมเสทที่เป็นสัตว์สงวนของประเทศบราซิลจะมีการนำเข้าผ่านสหรัฐเมริกาภายใต้การรับรองของอนุสัญญาว่าด้วยการค้าระหว่างประเทศ ชนิดของสัตว์ป่าและพืชป่าที่ใกล้จะสูญพันธุ์ หรือ ไซเตส การนำเข้าสัตว์สงวนนั้นทุกวันนี้มีทั้งถูกกฏหมายและผิดกฏหมาย ดังนั้นหากผู้ซื้อต้องการซื้อสัตว์สงวนใดๆก็ตามควรจะตรวจสอบว่าร้านหรือฟาร์มเลี้ยงนั้นมีใบอนุญาติที่ถูกต้องตามกฏหมายหรือไม่เพื่อปกป้องสิทธิของสัตว์ป่าเหล่านี้จากการลักลอบแบบผิดกฏหมาย การทารุณกรรม และโรคต่างๆที่ไม่ได้ผ่านการตรวจสอบโดยองค์กร
นาเดียไม่เคยคิดจะเลี้ยงสัตว์ป่าสงวนเลยค่ะ แม้ว่ามันจะน่ารักแค่ไหน แต่อย่างไรก็ตามไม่ว่าจะมีสัตว์เลี้ยงประเภทไหนเราก็ควรดูแลเขาอย่างดีเพราะสัตว์เลี้ยงดูหล่านี้ก็เหมือนเด็กที่ต้องการความใส่ใจและดูแลอย่างสม่ำเสมอ สำหรับตัวนาเดียเองอยากจะเลี้ยงแมวสักวันนึงถ้าพร้อมคงจะมีความสุขน่าดู <3
