असत्य पैदा करता है अविश्वास (भाग #१) | False Unbelief (Part # 1)
विचार आदमी को सुलझाते भी हैं और कभी-कभी उलझन में भी डाल देते हैं । प्राचीन साहित्य में लिखे विचार मन में उलझन पैदा कर देते हैं, एक ऊहापोह, एक संदेह पैदा कर देते हैं । मन में प्रश्न उठता है कि ऐसा कैसे लिखा गया ? असत्य के बारे में लिख रहे हैं, क्या उन्होंने स्वयं असत्य नहीं लिखा ? यह बहुत बड़ा चिन्तनीय बिंदु है ।
एक महान आचार्य ने लिखा है –
असत्यमप्रत्ययमूलकारणम्, कुवासनासद्मसमृद्धिवारणम् ।
पहली बात – असत्य अविश्वास का बड़ा मूल कारण है । दूसरी बात – असत्य समृद्धि को रोकता है, आदमी को धनी नहीं होने देता ।
ये दोनों बाते उलझन पैदा कर रही है । क्या असत्य अविश्वास का कारण है या सत्य अविश्वास का कारण बन रहा है ? आज सच कहो तो भी कोई नहीं मानेगा । मन में आशंका होती है कि झूठ बोल रहा है । जैसे आपको भी कई लोगों ने कहा होगा कि जब हम इन्कम टैक्स के लिए सही कागजात पेश करते हैं तो उस पर विश्वास नहीं किया जाता । अधिकारी लोग मानकर चलते हैं कि सच को छिपाया जा रहा है । एक नम्बर के खाते पर भी विश्वास नहीं है ।
सत्य पर विश्वास नहीं है, असत्य पर ज्यादा विश्वास है । इसलिए आदमी असत्य बोलकर काम चलाता है । सत्य पर सहसा विश्वास नहीं होता । एक गरीब आदमी सोने की मोटी चेन पहन ले तो कोई उस पर विश्वास नहीं करेगा । सब यही कहेंगे कि फूटपाथ की किसी दुकान से या मनिहारी की दुकान से खरीदी गई आर्टिफिशियल चेन है । लेकिन अगर कोई बड़ा आदमी नकली ज्वेलरी पहन ले तो कोई उस पर अविश्वास नहीं करेगा । यही समझेंगे कि पुरे चौबीस कैरेट का शुद्ध सोना है ।
सत्य और असत्य की पहचान खो गई है । वह अब बड़े, छोटे व्यक्तित्व के पैमाने से पहचानी जाती है । असत्य अविश्वास पैदा करता है । किन्तु आज की सबसे बड़ी कठिनाई यह है कि सत्य पर आदमी का भरोसा नहीं रहा । लोग यह मानने लगे हैं कि सच बोलूँगा तो मारा जाऊंगा ।
जज ने मुजरिम से पूछा – “तुम्हें पता है झूठ बोलने का अंजाम क्या होगा ?”
अभियुक्त ने कहा – “जानता हूँ हुजूर । झूठ बोलूँगा तो नरक में जाऊंगा ।”
“फिर सत्य का बयान करो ।”
“क्यों ?”
“सच बोलूँगा तो अभी तत्काल जेल जाना पड़ेगा ।” अभियुक्त ने सच्ची बात कह दी ।
सत्य बोलने के खतरे हैं, इसलिए आदमी का सत्य पर से भरोसा ही उठता जा रहा है । झूठ के साम्राज्य में सत्य की हालत बहुत दयनीय है । सत्य की कसौटियां भी बहुत कड़ी हैं । आदमी को कभी-कभी सच बोलने की बहुत बड़ी कीमत चुकानी पड़ती है । फिर असत्य की बुनियाद पर आदमी ने बड़ी तरक्की की है, चाहे वह अल्पकालिक ही क्यों न हो ? दूसरा जब देखता है कि धोखाधड़ी और झूठ-फरेब से दूसरों ने इतनी ज्यादा प्रगति कर ली तो उसे भी असत्य के रास्ते पर चलने की प्रेरणा मिलती है । आदमी सोचता है – क्या मिलेगा सत्यवादी हरिश्चन्द्र बनने से ? जैसे भी हो अपना काम तो निकालना ही है ।
आचार्यों ने लिखा है कि असत्य अविश्वास का कारण है । वर्तमान में हम देख रहे है कि सत्य अविश्वास का कारण बन रहा है । आदमी की मानसिकता में बहुत अन्तर आ गया है । असत्य विश्वास पैदा कर रहा है और सत्य अविश्वास पैदा कर रहा है । यह एक उलझन है ।
दूसरी उलझन यह है कि आदमी असत्य बोलता है, उसका सारा व्यापार और धंधा असत्य पर अवलंबित है तो समृद्धि भी उसके आंगन में दस्तक नहीं देती, यह प्राचीन काल की मान्यता रही है । आज तो यह देखने में आ रहा है कि व्यापार-धन्धे में जो जितनी ज्यादा अप्रमाणिकता करेगा, वह उतना ही ज्यादा समृद्ध होगा । अनेक लोगों से जब यह कहा गया कि जीवन में अणुव्रत को अपनाओ, नैतिक जीवन जीओ तो उत्तर मिला कि उससे क्या मिलेगा ? कुछ भी नहीं । जिन लोगों ने अनैतिकता का आश्रय लिया, उन लोगों ने विशाल कोठियां खड़ी कर लीं, बड़े आदमी बन गए । हम ईमानदारी की माला जपते रहे, नैतिक और प्रामाणिक बने रहे तो आज हालत यह है कि जिन्दगी रोटी की चिन्ता में बीत रही है ।
सत्य पर विश्वास नहीं है । यह मान लिया गया कि झूठ बोलने पर समृद्धि बढ़ती है, सच बोलने पर जहां के तहां रह जाएंगे । फायदा कुछ नहीं, नुकसान की संभावना ज्यादा है ।
