SLAVE OF MY WORDS

I don't know if this has happened to you like me but I'm sure that many of you who have had some discussion, fight or even a conversation that we have said a comment that usually hurt another person in a way that we do not imagine.

Many times in a moment of anger we usually do and say things that we don’t feel or think because we are upset or let ourselves go by the pressure of the moment, the worst thing of that behavior is that we believe that this makes us feel better or that we "win" the discussion. Many times we don’t realize ourselves of the wound that we have created. The sad part is that we could lose friendships, sentimental relationships and even relatives by a cruel and insensitive comment.

Words often hurt more than a physical aggression; don't get carried away by anger and try to be a wise person at the moment, a wise man said once:
"Sometimes do nothing is the hardest thing to do.""

That's why I think that we should not be SLAVES OF OUR WORDS, we should BE OWNERS OF OUR SILENCES; we need to learn to wait and to have patience in order to avoid hurt our loving ones.

What is your opinion; do you think that we should be more carefully with things that we say? Or you think different?

Regards.
