The Little Prince / Antoine de Saint-Exupéry / A must read book

Only recently have someone recommended me to read the Little Prince. And so I did.

The books contains lots of illustrations, and some might mistakenly think it to be children's book.
Well, it's kind of a children's book. The writer, in the very beginning apologizes when he dedicates the book for "a grown-up". He claims he dedicates it to the young version, the child, of the grown-up.
I do believe adults should read it too, despite the fact that the writer always goes against the adults. The different characters on the book- the king, the conceited man, the tippler, the businessman, the lamplighter, the geographer, they all represent us, the adults in a much ridicule way. We're lonely on our planets.
"The wind blows them away. They have no roots, and that makes their life very difficult." as the lonely flower, with the three petals once said to the little prince.

I would like to end this post here, although there is much more to discuss about the narrator, the little prince, and the lamplighter...
Did you read the book? If not, go ahead, you must read it. It's brilliant, profound, and touching.
