Invest in Ourselves: Why?

"If the ax is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed, but skill will bring you success."
Ecclesiastes 10:10

Who will not agree with what Abraham Lincoln has once said, “ Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the ax. ”

I hope not to just agree with him but to couple our agreement with proactive responses.

In other words, let's invest in ourselves so that we will be able to perceive the purpose of this life given to us. I bet that you would concur that it is never easy to do so. Why? For the obvious reason that it takes one step at a time to be consistent. Personally, I believe that in order to sharpen our ax, it is necessary to form a habit which is not just a one-time decision but a daily choice to cling on. The moment that we build a habit of investing in ourselves then surely cutting off that tree or more trees is possible.

To end, I want to quote a statement that I can not agree more, "If you do what is easy, your life will be hard. If you do what is hard, your life will be easy." Well, investing in oneself is indeed challenging, but a guarantee that it is worth it.
