Hoy no quisiera llorar
y por mucho que no lo acepte
no lo podré evitar
y me sentiré muy triste

Hoy quiero recordar
el tiempo que ya no es
espacios que ya no están
y una vida que se nos fue

Hoy quiero agradecer
también pedir perdón
la vida que me dio una vez
y el tiempo sin su candor

Hoy, solo quisiera sentirme
aunque me encuentre acompañado
en un sueño poder hundirme
y vagar por tiempos pasados

Hoy quiero tu soledad
que me acompañe con tu presencia
hoy te quiero recodar
y sentir tu noble esencia

Madre, hoy te me vas
y lamento estar tan lejos
no solamente en la distancia
también con mis sentimientos

Siento este dolor tan mío
así como lo fue tuyo
siento esta trizara tan fría
y a la que ya no le huyo.

Hoy vivo por ti
y aunque lejos puedas estar
siempre te sentiré aquí
acompañando mi andar

Mi esperanza y mi fortaleza
las que llenaron tu corazón

Today I would not like to cry
