Interesting review! I've seen some videos of Sadhguru on the web and always found it quite eloquent, although I do not know him (his teaching) in depth. This idea however is not new, I had already read it in the famous book of Paramahansa Yogananda (Autobiography of a Yogi) of Self Realization Fellowship... apparently also one of those who has realized this error of calculation of the "Yugas" was Sri Yukteswar. So there are reasons to be optimistic and do more for ourselves and our great family that is humanity.
