Hundreds of horses each year enliven the traditional horse racing event that opened in Blang Bebangka Square, Pegasing.
Traditional Horse Race which is an official event of Central Aceh Government followed by four districts (Central Aceh, Bener Meriah, Gayo Lues and Bireun), as well as involving various local horses Gayo highlands and astaga horses (the result of cross-breeding between Australian horses and Gayo).
