Dorm Implosion - A different type of crash took place today at the University of Nebraska

This video by JoM Squared, a University of Nebraska film student, shows today's implosion of the Cather and Pound dormitories on the campus of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

The dorms have served more than 50,000 students since opening in 1963, and cost $7.3 million to implode. The university will create a green space in the area where the dorms stood. Go Big Red!
