Celebrate success instead of envying it

Once upon a time, there lived a band of jolly friends, everything seemed fine at first, everyone seemingly more cheerful than the other. Love was thrown into the mix, shook a few, created some boundaries but everything seemed fine nonetheless.

Then one day, the unexpected happened, the friends found fame and money. Some of course more than the others and that was where the problems began.
At first, it started as a minor whisper, the ones not so fortunate as the fortunate one(s) felt cheated, looking for justifiable reasons to vent their frustration, they started faulting every single action taken by such individual.

If you are reading this, welcome to the reality of life. The nature of man is revealed when money is involved, for the sake of money and power so many have killed their fellow man.
I once heard of a case of a gubernatorial aspirant who was the people's favorite to win the elections, he was murdered by the opposition years ago and the replacement simply used his ideas on the state.

I once told @destinysaid that: "when you come into success, people will surely talk the bitter talk, even friends, don't stop what you are doing because that is when those people truly win."
When you have an idea, haters won't care enough to see the good in your plan, all they see is the flaw in you. That alone limits and blinds them to the truth of life.

On this platform, I have come to realize that some of the big names we see don't have time for petty things like envy. A friend of mine once said "you do not tell your fellow man everywhere you eat from." As much as I agree to that, I also disagree. The fear of envy has caused so many men to fall because they were so scared of being talked about, they never allowed themselves to shine.

One funny truth worthy of note is that people who usually envy others are very bitter on the inside. So bitter that they become paranoid.

Manners maketh man

That quote became famous probably through the movie Kingsman, however the original author is believed to be William Horman. The way you think greatly determines how your life will be like to others. A bitter person on the inside will always radiate bitterness at crucial periods when his/her aura is supposed to radiate happiness.
When you envy the success of others, you open yourself to become a potential target to envy which is why you become naturally suspicious.

Among the few people I respect with a calm attitude towards everything, I believe @teamsteem, @donkeypong, @ausbitbank, @timcliff and so many others stand out. My interaction with them although not in so many words have revealed to me the essence of celebrating success, I have realized that celebrating success also makes you a success.

Having envy in one's heart is like short circuiting your potentials. You think you are on the right path only to relize that you climbed halfway and destroyed the bridge between up and down.
I go by the rule of celebrating others deserving of celebration, so that one day, I will be celebrated. Negativity towards our fellow man is never the way, love, peace, respect and the ability to celebrate a success story when we see one is what's important.
