I agree with @onyemacourage that steemit.com can be a useful tool to help on the war against poverty. I have heard countless stories about people who have made money to buy cell phones or help with school expenses using steemit.com. To continue this we need to get the word out. There are so many people in the world that are looking to do good in life that could probably have a bigger impact on peoples lives by being part of this platform verses making donations or loaning money on kiva.org. I would rather help people directly on this platform than go thru a middleman that takes a cut for them self. #steemwaragainstpoverty
